There's many websites dedicated to the exploits of Major League Baseball's home run hitters. We all know the names...Aaron, Ruth, Bonds, Maris, McGwire, Dunn, Guerrero...the list goes on and on. However, there is a much smaller list of websites dedicated to the men who truly make those prodigious blasts a possibility. Those men are the ones who have a unique ability to groove one down the middle, the ones whose windup reminds us of a countdown to launch, the ones who will probably spend the later years of their lives suffering from chronic cases of whiplash from following a home run from crack of the bat to the 17th row in dead center. These men are the pitchers. Not just any pitchers, but pitchers good enough to be called upon to pitch inning after inning, despite racking up more frequent flier miles than a man living in New Orleans with a wife in Seattle and a mistress in NYC.

HangingCurveball.com intends to be the site which finally gives proper due to the men who make it all possible.
